100 Ways to Learn

One classroom. A hundred ways to learn.
In our high school autism program, learning is personalized, communication is honored in all its forms, and strengths are celebrated every single day. This space offers a peek into how we learn, grow, and thrive—together.

Our Spectrum of Strengths is a window into our neurodiversity-affirming high school classroom. Here, students with a wide range of support needs learn in ways that make sense to them—and show what they know in the ways that work best.

You’ll see the many forms communication takes, how lessons are adapted for access, and the beautiful, valid ways our students express their learning.

This blog celebrates progress over perfection, voice over volume, and inclusion that’s designed—not just declared.

I'm a high school special education teacher, mom, Nana, and lifelong advocate for neurodiversity and inclusion. My classroom is built on respect, relationships, and the belief that every student is a capable learner. I work with students with extensive support needs, and my approach blends 25+ years of early childhood experience with a deep understanding of sensory regulation, communication, and behavior.
Whether you're a parent, educator, or just curious—I'm glad you're here. Let’s celebrate different ways of learning, together.
